WHAT
WE DO
The BAFH is a grassroots, youth-led, nonprofit organization that empowers our generation to improve Fair Housing in the Bay Area
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
Did you know that the eviction process can have several harmful long-term impacts?
BAFH works on this mission through the research, education, and advocacy projects discussed below.
BAFH Challenge
Legislative Watch
The Challenge is simple, and you can make a difference by taking the Challenge now so that you can join our team and take on your own mission to Bay Area Fair Housing. There are as many challenges to solve as there are young people to solve them!
Social Media Influence
BAFH leverages the vast social media presence and know-how of the youth generation to get the word out about Bay Area Fair Housing. Today's teenagers communicate and amplify each other's voices through the power of social media, and BAFH encourages youth to take action through their own platforms.
BAFH tracks legislative action that impacts Fair Housing in the Bay Area at the federal level as well as at local, state, and international levels. This includes tracking regulatory action and rule-making. In doing so, BAFH engages in advocacy outreach to lawmakers and regulators to advance the Bay Area Fair Housing agenda.
Policy White Papers
As part of our advocacy efforts, we analyze policy issues and publish white papers. We use these as part of our legislative outreach to lawmakers and regulators, and we also make them available for education efforts to promote public awareness.
BAFH TOPIC
Tracker
Keeping track of research and recent developments in Fair Housing is an important part of understanding the potential in this field. Fair Housing in the Bay Area is an interdisciplinary field involving communities and officials. We explore research and recent developments in Fair Housing.
Hashtag Campaigns
BAFH leverages the social media savvy of the teen generation through hashtag campaigns. We do this to advocate for specific legislation, along with our Bay Area Fair Housing campaigns.
